As I rise each day
Alhamdulillah I say
As I put on my dress
Alhamdulillah I express
As I fill my empty plate
Alhamdulillah I state
As I make ready to strive
Alhamdulillah for another day alive
As I hear the birds sing
Alhamdulillah for the melody they bring
As I watch the sun rise
Alhamdulillah for my eyes
As I wash in the stream
Alhamdulillah I am clean
As I pray my solat
Alhamdulillah for the best start
As I share my gifts with neighbours
Alhamdulillah for Allah's favours
As I delight with my family
Alhamdulillah for their care of me
As I pray for forgiveness
Alhamdulillah for deliverance
As I open the Quran
Alhamdulillah for my Iman
As I understand and take heed
